I’m alive! Sorry for being MIA, I’ve been preparing for a very busy (and exciting) September full of photo shoots & weddings! This past weekend was our Nearly Newlywed shoot in CT. Tim did an amazing job shooting, the models rocked it and the dresses have somehow become even more amazing. I loved wearing this one.
Here are a few sneak peeks from the shoot, posted this weekend on NN’s Facebook page. PS how gorgeous are those 2H Flower bouquets?! They went beautifully with every dress. Love!

It’s here, the last summer Friday. I could cry! But that doesn’t mean that I won’t be savoring every last minute. I am off to the beach this weekend to hopefully get rid of my pasty pale skin. Wish us luck because we are bringing Jimmy on the train. Let’s hope he travels just like Lilo. Have a great long weekend, I plan on stargazing, bike riding, watermelon eating, & barbecuing all weekend. x

Since moving to Brooklyn, Tim and I have been doing a lot of exploring around the neighborhoods. One thing we realized from searching Craigslist for furniture is that Brooklynites tend to have some pretty cool things.
Here are some cool finds I’ve found at little thrift shops & the Brooklyn Flea (I just went for the first time this past Saturday!). And yes, I’m aware that all my finds are very random!

Here are a few photos from Jewel’s bridal shower on Saturday. Her sister did an amazing job throwing it all together. Every detail was amazing from the peonies (in July!!) to the ombre cake. I felt like I was browsing Pinterest with all these cute & thoughtful ideas! They also had a candy bar & little notes to Jewel’s future hubby – Patrick. Can’t wait for the wedding! xx

happy friday!! this week has been a big one. my sister-in-law was in town visiting & oh, we have decided to officially move to brooklyn! we checked out an apartment about 6 months ago and fell in love, but the landlord ended up giving it to someone who was in front of us & made more money. we were bummed. BUT this week we got a call from the landlord telling us about another apartment in the building that’s now open. it seemed like a miracle – things like this don’t really happen to me…or in nyc for that matter. anyways we checked out the apartment and it’s big, airy, clean & get this – has a peach tree in the backyard!! we were sold. so we will be signing the lease and moving august 1! so excited, so get ready for lots of apartment inspiration boards 
anyways, i’m heading out of the city for the weekend. road tripping it to delaware with my old college roommate for a friend’s bridal shower! have a good one! xx

Happy Friday! This weekend I hope to get a little sun but really just play catch up! I love summer but with all these weekend trips, I tend to get behind – especially on laundry. Have a good one!

This week has been flipped upside down that I can’t even believe it’s Friday already (I know, I can’t believe I said that either!), but I’m excited about it! My three brothers, who now live on the west coast, are on their way home this weekend for the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. Their film, Benny the Bum, will be screening tonight! Happy Friday! Although the weather has been so strange during the week (in the 50′s) the weekends seem to be coming through! I will be heading to PA this weekend with a bunch of friends to enjoy some poolside grilling out & star gazing. We are bringing little Lilo with us, she’s becoming quite the traveling foster cat!
