Here are a few photos from Jewel’s bridal shower on Saturday. Her sister did an amazing job throwing it all together. Every detail was amazing from the peonies (in July!!) to the ombre cake. I felt like I was browsing Pinterest with all these cute & thoughtful ideas! They also had a candy bar & little notes to Jewel’s future hubby – Patrick. Can’t wait for the wedding! xx

Earl Grey Ice Cream

Normally, I am not an ice cream person – but this past weekend I had ice cream 3 times , so I am certainly on a kick A few weeks ago, I complained that NY didn’t have enough ice cream shops (it’s true!) and Kelly recommended Van Leeuwen’s Artisan Ice Cream. I finally got a chance to try some Friday and it is amazing! While I was visiting one of the trucks, I tried the Earl Grey and I have not been able to stop thinking about it. This week I have a date with VLAIC, but if you aren’t close to a truck, try this homemade Earl Grey Ice Cream recipe.

This week began our apartment search. We will once again be moving after a short but sweet sublet. I found an amazing apartment in Brooklyn that’s available later than we need it, so fingers crossed it’s still available & can somehow work when we go and see it on Sunday! Have a happy fall weekend!

I came across this “Share the Sweet” post on Bonnie Tsang’s blog, B for Bonnie, and just had to share (I think it’s already working!). ”Share the Sweet” was created by Mixing to encourage sharing. I love the pretty wrapper and the fact that it’s a lollipop makes me feel like a kid – just makes me want to blow bubbles out of the end of the sweet!
