Bed Envy

7.26.2012

How cool would it be to go to sleep every night in sheets like these? I fell in love with Deny Designs sheets.  There’s even an option to make your own sheets with a photo.  Priced at around $199 for a (twin) set – it’s definitely pricey, but if you’re someone like me who only sleeps with a fitted sheet (it always ends up at the end of the bed when I wake up, so I boycott them!) it can be affordable! Above are a few of my favorites!

bark decor

4.09.2012

Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend! I’m slowly getting  back into my work routine but just wanted to share some gorgeous pieces from a sister duo from Massachusetts, Bark Decor.  All their products are handmade & the inks are eco-friendly.  The tanks, jewelry & scarves would be perfect for Coachella & they design men’s tees as well!

gold teeth brooklyn

It’s officially Spring! Each spring I always feel like there are a ton of events, between birthdays & weddings – it’s a busy season.  Which is why I’m so glad I found Gold Teeth Brooklyn.  Their handmade cards are silk screened and one of a kind.  I recently picked up the shoes card for my friends that just got engaged!  Cards are available for purchase at their Etsy shop here or check for locations near you here.

Missed Connections

2.21.2012

Ever meet someone and wished you had said something? Sophie Blackall has been trying to re-connect those people through her Missed Connections blog, kind of like a modern day Sleepless in Seattle.  She illustrates Missed Connections found on websites.  Her illustrations are amazing, you might recognize her work from the newest NYC subway illustration .  Anyways, check out her amazing blog – who knows maybe one is about you :)

coinmatta

1.04.2012

The new year always makes me reassess my closet – get rid of things I don’t wear or items that don’t fit. With the constant moving around in 2011, this task has been done three (different) times!  Since then I have vowed to buy only classic, can’t live without items. But these gorgeous handpainted silk blouses by Coinmatta (a workshop located in Milan, Italy) have me wishing I had a unique statement piece like this in my closet.

Art School, gasp!

12.14.2011

An art school in Detroit, College for Creative Studies, launched these ads to get parents & students to consider a BFA or MFA.  These made me laugh out loud, plus it’s nice to see support for creativity/arts.

These stamps from Ink + Wit would make a perfect stocking stuffer.

Fifi Lapin

11.17.2011

I immediately fell in love with Fifi Lapin. Fifi is by far the most fashionable bunny I’ve seen.  Keep track of Fifi’s outfits via the blog & if you are interested in purchasing anything from the shop – be sure to place your orders before Dec. 1st!
P.S. would make a perfect gift for a baby girl’s room or a fashionable friend*

* this is my favorite!*
